polk county law enforcement memorial

The Polk County Law Enforcement Memorial is a tribute created by the Polk County Fraternal Order of Police, honoring those who died in the line of duty, featuring engraved names on granite tiles at Veterans Memorial Park in Lakeland with an annual service to remember fallen heroes.

The annual "Peace Officers' Memorial Service" is held in May at the Memorial site, with a "Roll Call of Heroes," honor guards, bagpipes, 3-gun volleys, riderless horse, motors units and uniformed officer procession, helicopter flyover, and key note speakers to commemorate those lost.

The memorial, with its engraved names and symbolic sculptures, serves as a reminder of the sacrifices made for community safety, uniting families and law enforcement in remembrance and honor.

Please visit the Polk Count Law Enforcement Memorial's website at https://pclemf.org/  to learn more about the memorial and the heroes that have markers at the site.
