polk county law enforcement memorial

The Polk County Law Enforcement Memorial is a tribute honoring those who died in the line of duty, featuring engraved names on granite tiles at Veterans Memorial Park with an annual service to remember fallen heroes.

The annual "Peace Officers' Memorial Service" is held in May at the Memorial site, with a "Roll Call of Heroes," honor guards, bagpipes, and a 3-gun volley to commemorate those lost.

The memorial, with its engraved names and symbolic sculptures, serves as a reminder of the sacrifices made for community safety, uniting families and law enforcement in remembrance and honor.
