President's Message

As we step into 2026, I am honored to lead as President of the Polk County Fraternal Order of Police.  Reflecting on our accomplishments in 2025, we move forward with renewed purpose to serve our community with integrity and enthusiasm.

This year our continued focus will be that of strength, growth, engagement, steadfast support of the law enforcement community, and investing in the future.  By strengthening our ties in the community, we will continue to cement our legacy of service through local philanthropic partnerships and volunteer efforts.  By focusing on membership growth and engagement so that we continue to evoke new voices and fresh ideas.  By providing steadfast support for the law enforcement community through education, legislation, and community support.  By investing in the future organizational, as well as the professional and personal growth of each of our members

I encourage every FOP member to be a "Person of Action" this year.  Whether through attending our monthly meetings, joining a lodge committee, donating time and resources to the many charitable efforts we offer in the community or by simply educating your friends, family and neighbors on what is the lifeblood of our organization.

Together, we will make 2026 a landmark year for our lodge, our members, and our community.

Fraternally,

Ricky L. Newman

President, Polk County Fraternal Order of Police

Chairman, Polk County Law Enforcement Memorial
